This version has some inferior door finish - you can see fingerprints and it's not a pretty color. I had an almost identical but slightly more expensive fridge bought in 2017, and it was better. But after 8 years, the compressor went out. Anyway, with this one, the sounds bothered me terribly. They're quiet, but kind of annoying. I kept looking out the window to see if any cars were driving by. Such a quiet deep engine sound that just irritated me though. Coincidentally, a month later I got to another apartment where I picked up a Samsung tall fridge, and I have no problem sleeping next to it, it just has a fan-like sound, but no deep or high notes. I'm much happier with it, but it's not as roomy.
