I use, I scan, I'm happy.
Small, light (suspiciously so).
Great scanning possibilities with the IJ Scan Utility, which is downloaded from the manufacturer's website.
It doesn't need a separate power supply, it is fully satisfied with just a USB connection.
You can use the buttons directly on the scanner for quick scanning.
Great resolution. Great speed. I mean, in a home environment where I'm not scanning hundreds of pages.
The control program is in Czech.
The IJ Scan Utility must be carefully reviewed and played with enough to take advantage of all the possibilities.

After plugging it in, the scanner driver popped up, which is primitive, doesn't give the option to change JPGs to other formats, and has a preset resolution of 150 (desperately small, and max. is 600 - sometimes also desperately small), so I have to keep reconfiguring. I haven't figured out how to work my way to a different controller, and hopefully more resolution.

Not working on Windows 10
After downloading driver version 1.01, it also works on Windows 10, but then you don't automatically have an icon on your desktop
You will find the IJ scan utility in the programs whereupon the user interface of the nineties will greet you
The utility scanner is non-intuitive
The scanner has an anchor for the scanning arm, but the message that you have to unlock this anchor is confusing to say the least
When you use the default driver in Windows 10, you'll get an error message telling you to run the app as admin.
The scanner scans upside down in the default settings. After turning it over in the IJ scan utility everything is fine
How can Canon release such crap?

I am extremely satisfied with this scanner. It is very light, fast, but what I appreciate most is that there is no need for an adapter as it is powered by a USB data cable. So to a laptop and in addition without power completely ideal. It has a very interesting stand. At first I was afraid it was going to fall off, but it's really holding up. He's good for saving space.
