We needed a replacement watch for our daughter after her TCL drowned in the swimming pool, which, as I've now discovered, was functionally better than the Carneo. The Carneo watch arrived with a completely dead internal battery, which doesn't do much for its lifespan either. The firmware and OS are without security patches. As of September 2026, the last update was in 2024. If you need a watch with a SIM option for a child, it's not the best choice, but when you look at what's available in this price range, it's not bad.
