Good buy on sale, but it has its physical limits. I bought the power bank during the Alza Days promotion for 650 CZK. For this price, it's a very good buy, however, you need to expect certain limitations. When measuring the capacity (from about 80% at a 20V draw), I measured a real capacity of 26.7Wh compared to the stated 38.7Wh. At a voltage of 20V, this corresponds to 1,335mAh (or converted to the basic cell voltage of 3.7V, it's about 7,200mAh, which at a high load and converter losses gives a real efficiency of around 69%). The declared 45W wired output does work, but it can only deliver maximum load for about 15 minutes. After that, the power bank overheats and the thermal protection activates, which cyclically disconnects the output. The manufacturer opted for a plastic body, which acts as a thermal insulator – an aluminium body would have significantly benefited it for more effective cooling under high draw. It works better with more economical notebooks (e.g., MacBook) because they often manage with a lower power input and don't push the converter to its absolute limit. Regarding the wireless charging, the magnets should be mentioned – they are a bit weaker than they could be, so the power bank doesn't hold completely firmly on the back of the phone in a pocket and has a tendency to shift. However, for wireless Qi2 charging of an iPhone or a quick top-up on the go, it works great. If you are looking for a compact magnetic power bank and you buy it on sale, it is a very good choice. But for more demanding devices with a sustained high power draw, I would recommend a larger model with better heat dissipation.
Price during the sale (650 Kč): For this money during Alza Days, it's a great buy, the competition with these features costs twice as much.
Fast Qi2 (15W) works: Wireless charging for iPhone runs at full speed with no error messages.
It can deliver up to 45W for a short time via cable: It's fantastic for quickly charging your phone from 0 to 50% in no time.
A reasonable size: 10,000 mAh fits perfectly in your hand and on the back of the phone.
It can even power a more economical notebook: it charges a MacBook or less powerful machines that don't constantly draw full power without any problems.
Overheats at full load: With a constant 45W draw (on a Dell, for example) it lasts for about 15 minutes, then it overheats and starts to turn on and off.
The plastic body doesn't get hot on the outside, but it does inside: Plastic doesn't conduct heat, so while it doesn't burn your hand, the inside overheats and switches off. Aluminium would be better.
The magnets could have been stronger: It doesn't have a completely secure grip in a pocket and tends to slide down the back of the phone.
At 20V, the draw has lower efficiency: At a high voltage, it realistically provides around 26.7Wh out of the stated 38.7Wh (approx. 69% efficiency).
