I bought it to map 6 buttons to my most used keyboard shortcuts as a developer. Specifically I wanted virtual desktop left + right, alt-tab + shift-alt-tab, forward + backward. Error. You can a few predefined, like ESC, F5, forward, printscreen, well just unusable. You think that the x-mouse button control software might help you. Wrong again, the mouse sends directly the ESC or F5, so in this clever application you don't see anything being sent from the mouse from buttons 6, 7, 8, 9.

I was a little scared about how the mouse looked in the package (it looked cheap like a 100 mouse from electro), but out of the box it's very nice, feels good in the hand and is just light enough to use comfortably. After about an hour, however, the left mouse button started to squeak unpleasantly, which has never happened to me even at work with mice for 80 CZK. I'm going to claim it, so hopefully it's just a glitch and not a feature.
I originally wanted a fully vertical mouse, but this "semi" seems to be enough to free my hand, but I'll see after longer testing.
I still wanted to replace the tilt wheel with programmable buttons, because the tilt wheel is probably not worn on vertical mice. Unfortunately, the functions you can assign are quite limited and this is not there. The surprise is that the configuration happens directly on the display on the mouse, but it's intuitive and simple, so +. I'll upload the options for configuring the individual buttons (the six that are placed for the thumb can be set.
