I was hesitant at first, as it didn' t seem possible to me that a piece of wool could reduce the drying time, but they were very pleasantly surprised. The time actually dropped from 1/3 to 1/2 of the original without the balls and the laundry is just as dry.
Considering the current times, when energy prices are going up as they go, even such a small stupidity will save a lot of money.
