This impact wrench is absolutely brilliant. I’ve owned dozens of Parkside tools over the years, but as anyone who’s been in the same situation will know, they’re a waste of money, and I’m not rich enough to keep buying cheap bits and pieces over and over again. So I was looking for something a bit different, but not from the very most expensive brands, and Einhell caught my eye with its huge range of cordless tools and battery-powered garden equipment. I’m switching to this brand completely, and I can’t help but be amazed at how different it is from that Lidl rubbish. Every time I swap another item from Parkside for an Einhell, I can’t help but be amazed – but that was my own fault. I now know that you can never get anything decent at the cheapest price point. I had the very first green one from Parkside – that one was rubbish; then the ‘Performance’ model, the biggest one – that was almost impossible to operate with one hand; then the new ‘Performance’ model, the smaller one – that was fine, but it just often wouldn’t loosen the wheels; I don’t know how other people tighten them, but with the Octavia 1 and the like, I often had to take the cars off the jack and loosen them by hand. This new Einhell has solved the problem; in my opinion, Parkside exaggerates its specifications – it looks impressive on paper but falls short in practice. Based on my recent experience with Einhell, I’d say – subjectively speaking – that it’s more powerful than that ‘high-performance’ model, which, according to the specifications, should be almost twice as powerful. The automatic bike programme is brilliant. I work on a lot of cars, and it was a real mistake to buy cheap tools; that Einhell isn’t all that expensive, but it’s incomparably better. But who wouldn’t have expected that? For that price, you can simply get something better.

Size and weight are similar to the smaller Parkside Performance model, which has a maximum torque of 600 Nm. This one has a maximum torque rating of 1,000 Nm.
The workmanship and quality are in a completely different league to Parkside, which is also reflected in the price.
