I thought I would get the XL for a better price and print the box on a 3D printer. After unpacking, I thought they sent me a used piece, where the piece melted (the plate with the USB-C connector is attached to the main device with a connector and also stuck with some white glue / mass). It looks terrible and I have no idea what led the manufacturer to do something like this. Maybe the next batch will be better. I finally gritted my teeth and scraped off the glue, but it looks really unprofessional. After a longer reflection, it seems that the manufacturer simply sells part of the production without covers and rebrands it as a "module" for DYI enthusiasts without any modifications. According to the information from the internet, each module has a slightly different connector design, because they are not differently sized variants of the same product, but models that were developed gradually. It's nice that something like this is available, but one would appreciate something extra that they obviously don't want to put the effort and money into anymore, which is understandable, but sad for us. However, it is to the manufacturer's credit that it provides detailed CAD models of the modules for download on the web, which will greatly facilitate the creation of 3D printed boxes.
