I operate in the house, one doorbell placed at home approx 15m from the button, the other placed in the garden behind the house approx 40m from the button, both doorbells work absolutely reliably.
After about 3 weeks, the button works reliably even in direct rain. It's on an outside post with no cover.
The volume is sufficient.
The button press is deep enough to generate the necessary energy for signal transmission. In my case, there is no need to press the button twice, as someone wrote here, to make it ring.

It doesn't always ring a bell. Installed on metal boreholes and the signal passes through a 70 cm wall.

Unreliable range, especially through the house wall (brick) and concrete fence post at a distance of about 30m, which is the basic function.
Sometimes it rings, sometimes it doesn't. It probably depends on the speed of the button press and the amount of energy generated by the button.
