The instructions are very simple and don't reveal anything about how the camera communicates with the app and how it can be used. Just follow these steps and it will work, don't ask anything else. The camera only works with the manufacturer's app (on a mobile phone or PC) and only when it has internet access. All communication goes through the manufacturer's servers. Even if the application is not running and cloud recording is activated, the camera communicates with different servers on the Internet (using different protocols). It is not possible to operate within an autonomous network. The app provides very limited information about the camera and has little settings (you can't set the recording time - advanced settings, time lapse recording disappeared from the app. ). The camera does not have its own interface that would allow its setting - everything must go through the application and therefore through the manufacturer's servers, including e.g. password changes. The camera cannot be connected to a third-party application - it does not support ONVIF or RTSP protocol (older EZVIZ cameras had this option, it seems they lost it with a firmware update in 2023), even when connected to a wired network. The application requires an account on the manufacturer's servers (email, FB account, etc.) and you can also provide your phone number (for password recovery). When configuring the app, you enter your wifi network SSID and password. The manufacturer just knows quite a lot about you. I assume that it will be similar for other cameras of this manufacturer.

The camera can observe in 360° and can be controlled remotely from anywhere in the world (you just need to be connected to the internet). You can also watch and listen to video, audio and recordings anywhere in the world (again, an internet connection is all that's needed). As far as the picture is concerned, I think it is great in the daytime and at night also when the infrared light is switched on (at night it seems to me that the picture is even better than in the daytime). The app also lets you zoom in on the place you want to look at in more detail. You can also remotely control the camera and talk to it via the app from anywhere in the world. As for the space guard function, it works flawlessly and responds immediately. For example, if a thief comes, you can tell him remotely via the camera that you see him and go call the police. And different alarm intensities can be set if the monitored area is breached. You can also set the camera to monitor only a part of the area you mark in the application. For me, this camera is excellent and has only minor flaws that can be easily overlooked. For the money (899 CZK) it is really excellent in my opinion and for what it can do there is no need to buy expensive camera systems (it can replace them without any problems for much less purchase cost). You can have as many cameras as you want in the app, and the app can and does support smart home.

when connecting the camera to the router via cable, the image is more delayed and unstable. So I recommend having the camera connected via WiFi. It's interesting, but it does (or there was a bad signal at my place at the time).
