We currently have a lawn of 80m2. I sprinkled it with a borrowed oscillating sprinkler, but the thin trickles of water were very affected by the wind, they sprayed unnecessarily high, and a lot of the water evaporated before impact or landed completely elsewhere. This seemed like a great temporary solution before I renovate the part of the garden where there is a lawn and make automatic irrigation with sprinklers or some similar system. So I stretched a 7m hose into the middle of the lawn, connected the sprinkler and turned the tap on full blast. Of the 80m2 (8 meters in width, 10 meters in length) it sprinkled something between 1/3 and 1/2. It did not reach the edges of the lawn, about a meter was missing on each side - it roughly sprayed an area of 6x6 meters (36m2). So I would have to move the sprinkler at least 2-3 times to 3-4 different places to sprinkle the entire lawn. I could probably live with that for 400 CZK, because the flow of water was not so strongly affected by the wind and the grass seemed much more watered after only a short time. But... I had to connect a longer hose to that. I have 7 meters and then up to 20. Well, at 20 meters it already sprayed about a meter and a half on each side, so some 9m2. I would literally water the lawn 10 times. And we really don' t have any low water pressure, we live on the ground floor of a larger apartment building from 2009 and when I fill the watering can with the same faucet, it works fine. I can' t imagine what kind of WAP it takes for this little thing to cover 80m2.
