Despite the faults mentioned, I would still recommend this fridge, as the cooling unit’s performance is truly impressive. The retailer could keep an eye out for these faults; it’s a shame, as the product has otherwise been working very well so far.

The unit really does cool very effectively

keeps the contents cool for a long time even when switched off (2–3 days)

Even the tallest bottles (2-litre PET Coke bottles, etc.) will fit upright. )

The fridge’s body is quite well-built, with good controls and a practical layout of the various features (ventilation outlets, power supply, door opening)

It really won’t drain the car battery, even if you forget to unplug it

faulty 12/24 VDC power lead (poor-quality moulding of the plastic parts of the cigarette lighter connector; this was only discovered after setting off on holiday; fortunately, it was possible to repair it)

The partition grille in the cooling compartments is not secured properly (it occasionally falls out of the groove of its own accord)

It would be useful to have LED lighting in the cooling compartment on the lid when it is opened
