The resolution is great, but the small "sweet spot" means that whenever you're not looking straight ahead it's blurry. very blurry. Also, it should be mentioned that HTC's connection to SteamVR often crashed/failed for me. The base stations were making loud beeping noises (ironically 1 of the 2, the other one too, but it was within normal limits there).
The minimum IPD is 57mm, which is fine. but the VR is not made for smaller heads (I wear a size S helmet), and I had a lot of room on the sides, so I would need a larger "face cushion", which would reduce the FOV.
After about an hour of trying it on, when I took it off, I felt like I was squinting.
The next day I tried the Varjo Aero and I consider it 10 levels up, mainly due to the eye tracking.

quite good headset, unfortunately negatives more than put, returned after a day of testing, installation and setup is really tedious, the overall impression of the headset is mixed, on the one hand the best resolution and details, but on the other unbelievably small sweet spot, you look a little next and it' s blurred, the color is drinking all around, I preferred to invest the money in RTX 3090 Ti FTW3…

run with rtx 3070, ryzen7 5800x and everything works at 90hz, some titles even at 120hz
steamvr or vive console adjusts resolution and refresh rate according to performance

90hz or 120hz if you have a powerful computer
count on at least a 2070 or 3070 rtx card. if you don't have one, add another 50k for a new computer
the initial configuration is not entirely user-friendly
You need 3 free power sockets (3 power adapters included)
for full functionality you need to install steam vr and vive console in the latest beta version, otherwise the view "out" through the integrated cameras does not work
neither the helmet nor the lighthouse are switched off when not in use - the helmet gets hotter and the motors in the lighthouse units spin unnecessarily. I recommend to have an extension cord
the price of some VR titles
The hand controllers are quite large, a small child will have trouble holding them and pressing all the buttons. I recommend buying the valve index controllers (fully compatible and smaller with full hand gesture support, but at an additional cost of 300€). then you can switch between the drivers.
for a full experience (room scale) count on at least 2.5x2.5m of space, the more the better
The cable must be attached to the ceiling somehow, otherwise you will get tangled in it - there are reels/anchors specifically for VR helmet wire. so far, I've got the anchors plus rubber bands.
terrible microphone (sound quality)
after a long time in VR, the lenses sweat (but this is a general problem) and the user himself - so eventually the foams around the face will need to be replaced
cable interferes (but this is another general problem) the available wireless solution does not yet allow to use the best resolution
