Solar charging works quite well, and if the motion sensor had enough range, it might be a good camera at a reasonable price.
Quite good recording quality
The PIR sensor (motion sensor) has a range of only approx. 7-8 m
non-stop flashlight recording lasts 2 hours. Recording that is triggered by a motion sensor lasts “indefinitely“ because it charges in the meantime, but the sensor does not have the required range, so the camera is useless
Due to the short range of the motion sensor, the camera cannot be used to monitor a garden or a larger area. Although the resolution and image will cover it just fine. Maybe at close range somewhere at the front door or at the gate.
