I bought a GOPRO 12 first, but with my later experience, I could get by with just that camera. You connect to the camera via direct wifi, so at that point you lose the wifi internet connection on your phone, bluethooth is used to connect ext. devices like headphones, mic, remote control, etc., but if you're out and about and have data on your phone, it doesn't really matter.

I couldn't pair bluethooth with my phone, but maybe that's the intention, because some devices connect from the menu automatically, so blth serves as a service channel

The camera is suitable for visually interesting effects, if you need a camera for regular shooting with quality output, it is not quite the right choice.
The ability to create visually appealing shots that you couldn't do with a normal camera.

Usable output max 1080p, when framing in Insta360 Studio you need to not straighten the image too much and don't make too many cuts, otherwise the quality is terrible
Single lens 4K mode doesn't have much quality output, it looks more like upscale

When I didn't touch the camera for 3 months, the battery was still fully charged, while the GoPro was empty.
Image quality a class below GoPro
Seams in 360 video (you need to take them into account when making the footage, and to clean them in more advanced software than the one provided)
Sound very bad
Limited usability - basically this camera is good for a few effects, but they get tired quickly.
The supplied software (both for PC and mobile) looks masterful in the ads, but it is exactly the opposite
