I hardly notice them on my ear, sometimes I look for the earpiece and have it on. There is no problem with them in steeper movements.
I would describe the sound as "ok", I'm no expert but I could rate it as not great either way. They are fine for normal everyday activities. I listen to the word, to music, to the phone.
I've never seen a box that big before.

Outside the charging box there are LEDs that indicate the state of charge (of the box), they light up "like crazy" (at night it is quite visible), however, I often do not notice that the box is discharged. I guess I'm used to - from cheaper models, surprisingly - that the display directly shows me the charge level.
In noisier environments, e.g. walking down the street next to a tram, you can't amplify the sound to a level that would overpower the tram etc, I just can't hear what people are saying to me in my headphones, at higher ambient noise levels I hear the ambient noise, not the sound from the headphones.
