To summarize, these 4 ohm speakers are not worth their quality to replace the original ones in cheap speakers in minivans and I doubt they would be a better choice for most cars if you have a working speaker. I can't confirm if the 15 cm range is a better choice anymore, where even with the size the diaphragm will produce better bass and the highs may also be more noticeable. For me, these speakers can only handle a slightly higher load than the original ones, but at 2x 8W what the tower has, you can't test it, because out of caution I don't want to try it in a more expensive amplifier, which is from 8-16 ohms. The big disappointment was the sensitivity, where the original production speaker sounded a bit louder than this one with the declared 90 dB/W. m. (3dB= approx. 100% of power input or a speaker with a sensitivity of 87dB/W. m at 50W will make the same noise as another speaker with 90dB/W sensitivity. m at 25W) Conclusion: Slightly better treble and bass in the test, but once it's playing you don't even realize it and it doesn't make you sit on your ass. However, there is a decrease in loudness and a reduction in loudspeaker noise in quiet passages since the original fitting. I rather don't recommend it.
That's kind of how it plays
price, who wants anything for cheap that somehow plays, so it can be accepted.
In my opinion, it definitely does not have the sensitivity stated by the manufacturer (Sound pressure level: 90dB/W. m), it sounds almost an order of magnitude quieter than the original speaker. So in the L/P test, the channel with the original speaker was louder.
The bass line as stated by the manufacturer does not match the description at all, even though the speaker is placed in a closed sound box with bassreflex, so it should really play deeper tones from 45Hz than in the door with indeterminate space and pressure, but I see it more from 80-100Hz maybe higher at that sensitivity. In the generator some sound/rumble from 60Hz but a bit creeps. Slightly noticeable to the ear is the deeper tone from the original Aiwa series speakers.
The tweeter is no slouch either, slightly better than the original Aiwa universal speaker, which makes nothing but noise from 14,000 Hz and these speakers make no sound from 16,000 Hz
