Nice, quality workmanship and the sound is beautifully clear and tight. even with songs I've been playing for years, I hear sounds that are imperceptible elsewhere. On the other hand, imperfections are unpleasantly audible when playing low-quality MP3s. Previous BT speakers I had to place somewhere in a corner to get some bass, but this one sounds better when it's in space - I don't understand. I use the equalizer to fine tune the sound anyway, with the bass emphasized at a low volume a joy to listen to. At max volume without equalizer it roars decently, but the sound is not as clear or pleasant. The control cannot be faulted, the backlighting of the buttons does not disturb even at night before going to bed. Another plus are the system sounds (off, on, etc. ). They're not loud, nor are they any weird squawks like the Chinese shunts. It would just be useful to have some fusecloth from the manufacturer so that when carrying e.g. he didn't peel off in his backpack

After about 12 hours of non-use, the pairing went from broken to non-functional. You need to unpair and re-pair each time. But for the money 🤷♂️😀
