Purchased for a 14'' laptop, it is just the right size. 15.6'' won't really fit. The backpack is padded, lightweight, no unnecessary pockets and folders that make the backpack expensive, heavy and where nothing fits anyway. At the same time, it does not tempt to pull unnecessary. I'm totally fine with it. I wanted a simple backpack, and I got one just like it. It doesn't have an internal laptop pocket, I put it inside in a neoprene bag.
