The first rack took me about 45 minutes to assemble, but assembly was easy, everything just snaps into place. However, more force may be needed or use a rubber hammer (I didn't have one, so I used the handle of the pliers, which were rubber - you can use anything just to "snap" the shelves) Once assembled, it is light and stable. The advantage is that it is made of sheet metal, if a part comes slightly bent or crooked, a simple movement will immediately straighten it to the desired plane. It can hold its stated weight without any problem due to its construction. I had the second rack assembled in under 30 minutes. The paper manual may seem unclear to some, it is black and white and has only pictures of what to insert where. I found it easier than manuals from other buy and assemble stores. I can recommend it.
