Well, we thought that since the Czech company Lamax had put its brand on it, it would at least be tried and tested. Ha ha, we could have saved two-thirds of the price and ordered a random printer from Amazon – and it would probably have been better. Buyers, bear in mind that this is ONLY a toy for children to mess about with, and once they’ve got bored of printing out those little ugly photos, it’s no use to anyone. It’s certainly not a camera for trips – though, if you buy an SD card, it can save photos to it. The quality of those photos is abysmal; they’ll take you right back to 1997 and 16-colour Windows 3.11. That 48 MPx figure is pure fiction; in reality, who knows if the resolution is even 320x240, blown up to the required size. One of the two rolls of paper included is self-adhesive – look forward to sticking it to all sorts of surfaces: ) The official app provided by the camera itself directs you to download a file from a dubious third-party website. If I search for that app on the Play Store instead, it’s essentially malware all the same: requires registration and login, access to all possible permissions (microphone? for printing photos? ), is cluttered and full of adverts. (I’ve found another app that works; it’s called “Fun Print App”: "Kitty Print" by SholoBit. It’s true that it’s full of adverts too (though at least you can pay to remove them), but apart from that, it’s decent. ) I’m attaching some sample photos; the first one was taken in good lighting, and the second when it was overcast outside. So what does the printed copy look like?
