I didn't expect a soundbar that sounded this good for a few pennies. Easy connection to TV via BT (quality slightly worse than via HDMI). But HDMI ARC doesn't work reliably, disconnects, drops out.

If you have a smaller room and you want to improve the TV's sound quality, this soundbar will do the job.It's not the best soundbar but it's the best value for this money.It's easy to install and set with the TV, it will be automatically recognised so you just need to confirm the output change.

It replaces a 15 year old Sony AV receiver that cannot be controlled from the TV, plus it beeps at low volume. The original speakers are two front approx meter three-way speakers, a centre one, two rear small satellites and an active subwoofer 30cm in diameter. Ignoring the surround effect that I don't get from the 2.1 setup, the sound quality is at least comparable in a much more compact package with the ability to connect devices via BT, which the old receiver couldn't do.
