Seeing as there are relatively few reviews, I thought I'd write something too. I upgraded from an older MIO because I'm used to it and the price (3.3k) for a dual camera and the picture quality is, I think, pretty good, plus it comes with a smartbox. I'm happy with the menu, I can lock a recording myself with a single button if I need to. I can easily transfer the footage to my phone if something happens or if I want to show off some numpty. The video quality is perfectly adequate. What does annoy me a bit is that compared to the old version, it only has 3 levels for the G-sensor, even for parking mode. The highest setting doesn't register an impact at all when I slam the door or shake the car a bit. Which is quite worrying. The old one had really high sensitivity at the maximum setting, so I wasn't worried it wouldn't record a little tap. Parking mode doesn't work without the smartbox connected (i.e. from the ignition); the old one could do that and my car is able to power it from the socket even when parked. The installation took me much longer than I would have liked.

The G-sensor sensitivity can be adjusted in the settings; if it doesn't respond to more significant bumps even at the highest level, we recommend contacting Mio support. For the full parking mode, there is the SmartBox, which powers the camera even after the ignition is switched off and protects the car battery from draining. Although its installation is more demanding, the advantage is that it is already included in the package and does not need to be purchased separately. The Mio Team

For me the best 2.5K footage so far, plus at 60 fps, for me much better than 4K, and especially HDR at night makes top images. The new top sensor STARVIS 2 in the top row is pretty good, it does its job even in the daytime. I take radar for granted, but again, I haven't seen anyone else's cameras have a detailed countdown of seconds before a section, during something, and until it's over, and to tell me to slow down or speed up.
