I bought this for travelling with my MacBook (14”) and it works great! I was worried about the weight at first, but there was no need to be. It's light and comes with a handy case. A benefit in my opinion is that its base is made of rails, so it can also be used perfectly on a train as a sort of table extension, which are sometimes further from the seat than I'd like.
good construction
foldable
nothing creaks anywhere
could be cheaper :)

Exactly as I'd hoped.
Even a gaming laptop fits nicely there
