I wanted a push button phone not specifically for seniors. A phone that lasts a few days without charging, isn't a paddle like smartphones and has basic equipment and at least basic settings in its own image. I'll tell you, with a lantern, if you look for it, you won't find it. The vast majority are cell phones for seniors with terrible sound, small displays, terrible ergonomics and minimal ability to change anything. In the end, after a long selection and testing of several models, I ended up with the Mobiola MB4280 4G. It's not a perfect phone, it has its bugs and things that irritate me, but among the blind, this one-eyed is king. I have listed the main pros and cons below. Overall, I would rate the phone as acceptable and usable (I mean, the others I've tried have been terrible) and I guess I'm happy with my choice. It does a decent job for its price. The sound of the ringer and the phone call is good (the sound of the phone call is really a lot at the highest volume), the signal is received without problems. The mobile phone also has a camera with backlight, it can shoot videos. It's not a phone you buy for perfect photos, of course, but as an emergency device for example for photo documentation of an accident it's enough.
large battery capacity and long battery life
reasonable size of the phone (although it could be a little smaller)
protruding buttons, button 5 has protrusions, can be operated blindly
good ringtone sound, option to choose your own mp3 or aac files for ringtones, sms and alarms
memory for 2000 contacts
contacts can be divided into groups and each group can be assigned its own ringtone
5 fully customisable ringtone profiles, option to add your own
# button is used to cycle through 3 profiles (silent, vibration, normal)
adjustable behaviour of the directional buttons on the joystick and the right button
USB-C connector
USB mass storage support
Bluetooth support
only two games
menu items can be selected by numbers (but unfortunately not in the main menu or in the sms menu, so you can't remember the menu+number+number shortcut)
illuminated buttons
the possibility to set battery protection (charging only up to 80%).
automatic keypad lock, option to set the lock to the red push button
you can use the right and left arrow keys to move between sms
there is no charger in the package, only the cable. So I don't accumulate unnecessary chargers at home.
the flashlight can be switched on even when the phone is locked (so it sometimes switches itself on in the pocket and the phone is unnecessarily discharged)
only three alarm clocks
memory for only 200 SMS. That is very, very little these days. There's plenty of memory on the phone.
sms list unnecessarily stretched, only 3 sms are visible
inability to arrange the menu. The menu is arranged quite illogically.
with the Matrix menu, the first item to select (after pressing the menu button) is Games, which probably won't be the most common item selected. So there's always somewhere to go. The most common items cannot be accessed with a single click or by selecting a number.
inability to adjust the function of the left button
there are two ways to get to the menu (middle button and left button), this is unnecessary. It would be better to have an editable menu on the left button where I can select the most frequently used items
status icons are not explained in the manual and not all of them are obvious
In the display settings you can select the time and date (but not just one of them), info about SIM1 and SIM 2, Audio player and radio. For example, the ability to find a missed call or an incoming text message (e.g. sender info) is missing.
It is not convenient to switch writing modes. There is no option to choose to write only one uppercase letter and one lower case letter (Aa mode automatically writes upper case only after a period).
when a text message arrives, you can't read it straight away, you need to click when typing two characters on the same key (e.g. well) you need to wait before the second character can be entered (so you press 6-6-long-wait-6-6-6). It used to be a good practice to be able to press the right arrow, which meant that you didn't have to wait and could continue typing.
the buttons have degraded response after a few months of use
sms does not recognize a phone number written in the format XXX XXX XXX XXX. reminder does not have the option to snooze or mute the sound with the notification remaining on the display.
does not have the ability to accutalize the software, if the manufacturer decides that something is worth fixing

Bought for my mom as a replacement for Nokia, I was asking for something simple with a large enough font that would look similar to the original Nokia. Satisfaction so far.

I have good experience with Mobiola button phones, I tried Nokia brand, which I was used to for years, and other unnamed button phone manufacturers, until I discovered Mobiola brand and now we don't use other button phones in the family. This type of Mobiola MB4280 has 4G, so hopefully it will be possible to make calls from it even after the 2G network is switched off, if you can get a spare battery for it. Usable loudspeaker when making calls, option to insert a microSD card, I recommend inserting before starting the phone, otherwise the phone will start saving photos, videos, recordings to the internal memory (only 33 MB). And the phone also has other features I was used to with button phones, like blacklist, speed dial, etc.
large buttons, large display, clear menu, DualSIM
microSD card, custom ringtones can be selected
Blacklist, speed dial
FM radio, calculator, stopwatch, unit conversion, flashlight
low-backlit keyboard on the blue version

We bought this mobile phone for our grandfather who is already 82 years old. Therefore, he needed a simple and clear mobile phone, which Mobiola fully meets. In particular, I must highlight its piercing blue colour, thanks to which our grandfather always finds it quickly. Large and easily visible buttons are a good help. Next, I must highlight the USB-C connector, thanks to which the grandfather always plugs in well. The one slight negative I see with the phone is its camera, however, within this category of phone, this is an acceptable issue.
velke buttons
dual SIM
nice colour
USB-C charging connector

I've had about 4 alligators, and it often went off charge and wasn't as clear as this one. I hope it lasts.
4G, will be functional even after 2G is turned off, as one of the few senior phones
Legible display
Large spacing between buttons
When the second sim is not inserted, it's not written across half the display like the alligator
Included qr code to extend the warranty to 3 years.
Elegant look even in that blue colour. Easier to find in the "purse" and looks good on the table.
Only usb-c x usb-c cable included. For a retired phone I would expect USB-A x USB-C, but that's a minor detail.

Useless 2 megapixel camera. Not much use anyway. But it's included, and maybe that's why someone will buy it.
It can also use the 4G network. It may seem unnecessary. A month ago, when I was deciding, I was looking for tests of cheap button phones. I found a current test of what's on the market right now. And about 12 of the 15 devices in the test had only 2G. And somehow there was no information that this particular network will be shut down in our country by 2028. By the way, in some EU countries it is already switched off. Nokia also disappointed, although nice and cheaper but also only 2G. And buying a phone that stops working towards the end of the warranty didn't appeal one bit.
Beautiful display
Battery life
Compliance. I don't even know it's in my pocket.
The menu is similar to the old Nokias. Including keypad locking and unlocking. If anyone's had it, they'll be right at home here.
When switched to loud speaker, not much. If someone is hard of hearing and requires this feature, they should try it out first.

It basically does what it is supposed to, maybe even better than other manufacturers, yet it has unnecessary flaws. For some reason, there is a general trend that if a phone has buttons, you need to make it software-unusable. It's not too bad for this device, but it doesn't buck the trend.
It meets expectations.
It has a 2 megapixel camera.
In the Messages menu, the speed dial digit activation of submenus does not work.
In the Profiles menu, the option to activate the desired profile by pressing a digit is not even available.
The list of received SMS shows the day and month, but not the year (not even the last 2 numbers). The year is displayed in the open report.
In the gallery of saved photos, you can only view the whole photo, you cannot zoom in. So it is not really suitable for viewing the photos taken.
In many places, the dates show slashes instead of dots.
There is no possibility to update the software with a possible patched version.
I received a message from the operator, but I can't find out which SIM it is from (regular SMS shows the SIM number).
