I took off a star for the wrong weight. The listed weight of 264g is actually 313g (without the case and stylus). Which is a difference of almost 20%. A great advantage is the ability to install the Kindle Android app to read books purchased on Amazon. The missing fingerprint reader is a major security issue in my opinion, which is why I didn't connect the device to my primary Google account. However, a Google account is required to download other android apps via Google Play. I went the route of installing the Aurora Store (I downloaded from f-droid.org using the internal browser), so you can install apps without logging in.

Overall very satisfied, I believe it is a very useful tool for the student.
Just the right size for comfortable reading
The possibilities offered by Android
User-friendly, clear and simple environment
Adjustable backlight
Battery life - I was afraid it would be worse, but since I don't have wifi on, it lasts me about 14 days for sure with about an hour of reading a day - maybe more, but I don't drain it to 0%
Convenient PDF and djv browsing and editing
More of a warning - don't really expect tablet speed and colour - the illustrations, manga, comics are great and perfect to read, but it's not the gloss of a magazine like on the iPad
Absence of waterproofing freezes

The colour display is more of a disadvantage - not much use without the backlight on. It does not have a headphone output but can be solved by reducing to USB C.
Suitable size
Good recognition even of rather illegible handwriting
Peri also works on Samsung Galaxy
Supplied without case
Occasionally poor translation of controls into English
Very poorly translated manual into English

I replaced the default reader with Moon+ Reader Pro to synchronize the position in the book with my mobile phone. I sync my books between devices using Synology's Drive and it works fine. The default note-taking app is great to write in. For reading nonfiction, comics, and note-taking, a larger model would be better, but on this one it's still usable and is significantly more comfortable for reading fiction (In bed, on a seat, on public transportation where a larger one would be too heavy and large)
Colour e-ink
Endurance (depends on the use, for me I charge 1* per week, which is enough for me)
With android, PIN security
Install apps from Google Play
On some Android apps slow
Smaller display for reading comics and technical literature

I chose the tablet as a compromise between an e-ink reader and a small tablet. For reading books and the internet and possibly documents. I think of it as a prototype, there is room for improvement. I wanted a small device, hence the 8", otherwise in the 10" there are more choices and more equipped devices. You need to get used to the retro graphics, colours as in the days of 286 but with a very fine resolution. The speed is also similar: ) Nothing for the young social media grinders, but that's what I wanted to avoid and relieve my eyes when I need to look at some digital information after work. 64GB is enough in the end, I installed a few apps, uploaded my library, some audios and a few GB of documents and still have half of the storage left. It makes no sense to store photos and movies in it.
Pleasant size
good redrawing on e-ink
Android and Google Play
The case must be purchased separately
Missing: microsd slot, 3.5mm jack, volume buttons, waterproof, front camera for video calls, rear camera for scanning
less sensitive to touch than a traditional tablet or mobile phone
