I was considering switching to LED because of the crappy lamp brightness on my car. Stronger expensive halogen bulbs were the solution, but their lifetime is poor. I didn't want unhomologated LED retrofits because of the glare hazard. These LED bulbs are certified, so they are legal and hopefully well designed. It feels as bright or even a little weaker than (legal) strong halogen bulbs, but the light has a different colour and illuminates objects in the surroundings and the road well. We'll see how it will be with durability, I suppose the price will end up being about the same as if I replaced the more expensive H11 several times, so I don't expect any financial savings. The disadvantage is that these LED bulbs have a separate electronics module on the cable that needs to be placed somewhere, but in the end it was no problem to attach it to the headlight. The module is quite small, so you just need to fix it, you can probably find a place. The bulbs have a small fan integrated, so the cooling is hopefully taken care of. The size of the bulb itself is not a problem, it is only slightly larger than the original H11. There is no special document regarding certification, but the E1 certification mark is stamped directly on the bulb body and the model is clearly marked as certified on the manufacturer's official website.
