Decently rough, plastic surface which is great in combination with RAZER mouse
The mouse flies across the mat like it's covered in lard
The pad sits nicely on the table, but it is not stuck on tightly and can be moved
Unfortunate way of removing the bottom film to keep the pad on the table, you can tear the pad when removing the protective film.
