Overall, it is a very useful device. Anyone who needs to regularly clean sofas, rugs or car interiors will probably be OK with the Rowenta. I wouldn't see it for large areas, though.

Suction power
Great attachments

I've only been using the spot cleaner for a short while, but my first experiences are very good. Cleaning carpets and upholstery is simple, the machine has enough power, and the results are visible right after the first use. For me, it's a great helper for regular household cleaning.

I tried the spot cleaner on some light-coloured seat cushions where the cat used to lie, leaving hairs everywhere. I didn't remove them first and went straight to cleaning. I was surprised at how well the attachment removed the hairs. The noise level is fine, though it starts to get hotter during longer use. It's also quite quick. The only thing it didn't clean was dried blood. When the water in the dirty water tank started to foam, it began to leak a little inside the cleaner… For occasional jobs, it's fine.

The lid on the dirty water container won't come off.
Could have a bit more suction.

The dirty water sometimes leaks outside the tank directly into the carpet cleaner.

everything worked perfectly on the first go. It's easy to use and you can see the cleaning results immediately. I used it to clean a sofa and chairs.
Cleans nicely and vacuums up water sufficiently, it's not difficult to operate.
