It mops quite well
When vacuuming, it agitates the hair all around but does not vacuum it

The water tank broke after a while, so I had to get a replacement from the manufacturer. It's held since then, but only because the vacuum cleaner is not used at all

The vacuum cleaner stopped working all of a sudden and we didn't give it much work. When you turned it on, all you could smell was the smell of burning. And as someone wrote here, the claim was rejected. Reason: During testing by an authorized service technician, mechanical damage was found - a rusted motor (fluid ingress into the motor), which is not compatible with the manufacturer's warranty conditions. The case is dismissed. When it worked it was a great little helper, but never again from Rowenta! If you want to buy this piece of crap count on the fact that if you get water on the engine and it burns up, you won't be able to claim it. How can water get into the vacuum cleaner motor when the vacuum cleaner is running with water? Scumbag!

Hello, thank you for your review. The steam button must be held for user safety. Burns could occur if the product is handled carelessly or the floor could be damaged if the steam mop is left in one place for a long time, for example on a wooden floor.

The steam unit is rubbish, the first one left after a year and a half, claim not acknowledged. I was looking for another device but this one came out best in price and parameters, so I took a chance. Used exclusively with distilled water to avoid limescale damage. After 9 months the steam unit is dead again. The device is used about once every 14 days.

Hello, thank you for your review and we are sorry to hear about your experience. This is definitely not a common fault on this device. The problem may be the distilled water. You should definitely use a tap, mainly because distilled is stripped of minerals and the steam unit cannot generate enough steam to pressurize. Distilled water produces less dense steam precisely because of the minerals removed. If you have extremely hard water, the ideal is to use a mix of tap and distilled, but never pure distilled water. It vacuums and cleans at the same time, a great time saver. The floor is beautifully clean, pleasant when walking barefoot, no sticking after preparations, as it was with the mop. It picks up all the dirt, so there's no final picking up of accumulated dirt, as I've always done with a hand mop. I appreciate how it refreshes carpets and picks up surface dirt without vacuuming first.
The weight of the device seems reasonable to me, it is easy to handle. I have only used the hand cleaner once on the windows so far but I was very pleasantly surprised by the result. The steam has pressure, so it blows dirt out of the frame walls very reliably. Glass and frames remain streak-free.
A long enough cable that you just have to learn how to use. But it's probably necessary for the performance of the device. I have an allergic son, so I'm finally happy to be hygienically clean without the use of disinfectants and cleaning is so much more fun now: o) I use it on floating floors, carpets and tiles.
