I liked them as soon as I put them on, the size is just right for my hand, but it might be an issue for some. The display is beautifully clear, even in direct sunlight. With normal use, the battery lasts about 3 days (clock, alarm, sleep tracking), and with sports activity, about 2 days, but the charging is a bit of a letdown, taking about 2 hours to go from 10-80%. Sleep stats, step counter, heart rate, etc. seem accurate. Paired with a Samsung phone, they make a great duo, but unfortunately, if you don't buy a Samsung phone or don't have one, you'll miss out on a lot of the features the watch offers. The watch body and glass are very durable; even on a building site after a few knocks against tiles, a door frame, bricks, or even sparks from an angle grinder, there are no signs of damage.

The Ultra 2 are without a doubt the best "Android" watch so far. Especially if you use them within the Samsung ecosystem (I use them with a Flip, for example). I highly rate the health and sports monitoring, as the watch produces a lot of outputs and recommendations that can then be clearly browsed on your mobile. It's a joy to use the watch, it has a brilliant display and fantastic responsiveness. The included strap is fine, the watch fits well with it and it's suitable for sports and for use in water. For office wear, I bought a leather strap for the previous generation; the clips are compatible and the selection/availability is wide. After the few days I've been using them, I can recommend them. The downside for me is the battery life, so far I'm charging it every day - and charging with the supplied charger isn't exactly the fastest (2+ hours from 5% to 100%) (to be fair, Apple is much worse when it comes to battery life, so I guess battery life is just the price you pay for performance and a quality display).
