I don't understand why the disinfectant has to be dispensed into the fabric softener compartment when the disinfectant is really effective at min. 20°C (which doesn't really flow out of the tap in the winter) and the laundry should be soaked in it for at least 15 minutes? That seems like a recipe for deliberately wasting product with almost no effect 😀 I add it to the main wash in addition to the powder, but I don't know if that's a win... I think hot wash sanitizer just isn't a substitute. As a feel-good supplement, maybe it's good.
