Somehow I miss "motion detection" in the settings! and this function in general. It's mentioned on the importer's website, but the manual has a rather random mention of motion detection on page 14, but there is no description of the settings or the option to set it in the menu.

The kit to mount it in an outdoor enclosure sucks. Attaching the handlebar clamp is an interesting adrenaline rush, when will the plastic crack? It hasn't burst yet, but it's not holding up either. So are the joints. If you screw the black plastic to the polycarbonate housing, it still works. Once the black plastic joints are screwed together, it's laughable, because as the black plastic is smooth, it doesn't hold and the whole case soon bounces back on you. This accessory will want to be either modified or replaced. The original is inoperable.
