This is my second Sencor scooter. I had high expectations because of the first one (Sencore Two Long Range), and I have to say I’m quite disappointed and am thinking of returning it. Some of these things are minor details, but in some respects it’s a definite step backwards. The worst thing is the app, which basically doesn’t display anything compared to the old one. It doesn’t show the temperature, battery voltage, estimated range in kilometres – nothing. It only shows the total number of kilometres and the number of kilometres since the last time it was switched on. I realise that estimates aren’t exact, but at this rate we won’t be able to work anything out at all. If your engine overheats, you won’t know how long to wait. When the battery capacity starts to decrease, it is impossible to tell what condition the battery is in, or what the remaining range is likely to be, even approximately. This is such a big deal for me that I’m wondering whether to give up on the brand altogether, because the app is the same for all new Sencor scooters. The second really serious issue is the sharp edge of the bolt between the throttle and the handle. It’s precisely in situations where you need to control your speed – for example, when the scooter is bouncing over stones – that the edge hits and digs into the joint at the base of your big toe.
