Picking a slow cooker is a tough one, I only managed it for the third time. When I bought this piece, I thought that I would get something extra besides slow cooking and posted a video review on heureka (a selection of slow cookers- that was a mistake) Unfortunately, it turned out that the multifunction offers more just crappy functions, where every function is below average. Personally, we have only tried the slow cook low grade, however the product has already been returned once, so we coincidentally received a list of defects from a previous customer in the package. One of them I can confirm, the holes in the lid are really big and the heat (steam) escapes to an excessive degree, in my opinion it is a consequence of the multifunction, when the lower heater is also dimensioned for frying, thus high power. Another comment from a previous user was that when steaming, the water boils very quickly and then when you have to refill it, you have to wait for it to boil again. I have a steam cooker at home and I know how much water it uses, here I have to give you the truth without trying it directly, the volume of water under the cooking grate is really small. Well, my experience with slow cooking on low was that the water boiled a lot and it shouldn't, just max slightly bubbling. So this model failed for me, and I'm not talking about the sous vide, where I doubt it heats to the right water temperature.
My next choice was the TESLA Tesla SlowCook S500 - a very simple appliance and only for slow cooking, which I think is the way to go. Unfortunately that one boiled water excessively too, although less than this Sencor. It also had a ceramic pot, which is sometimes reviewed as a good solution, but after experience with another model I have to say that I don't want a ceramic one, firstly it's heavy (for my wife certainly) and also you have to take a chapka for it, when you then pour, for example, broth, so it's an art not to partially pour hot broth into your gloves: -( In the end Russell Hobbs 22750-56 won, it is a bit smaller than the TESLA, but 6 l is enough for my family. The water there sometimes bubbles very slightly with tiny bubbles, which is why I wanted a slow cooker, I can cook in a classic casserole. The Russel Hobbs tohot pan has a non-stick surface and plastic holders that can be taken by hand normally, it is lightweight, the lid has no holes and fits nicely. You can set a delayed start max sum with cooking 12h, which is enough, once it is cooked, it automatically switches to temperature retention. So once we registered that the non-stick layer could not be washed off with detergent, it seemed to have damaged the top layer, but after further cooking it disappeared, I have no explanation for what it was, if some salt oxides, I don't know, but I believe that the non-stick layer lasts a long time and that it does not leach anything when cooked about below the boiling point.
Then another established brand is Crok Pot, but I was put off there by Trump and also the reviews sometimes say it lasts 2 years and that's it, but that's probably an exception.
