I'm writing this to counterbalance the low ratings of two reviews written here earlier. It is true that the navigation buttons and the calculator's border are grey and not white as shown in the picture. If you know Sharp a bit (or can guess from English), the models with index GY have grey main details and the ones with index WH have white ones. However, the labels of the other keys are normally contrasting white (in combination with yellow and green) on a black background. Physically, the calculator is completely normal, I don't understand the complaints about the soft overlay of the top (power supply and display), it's perfectly fine and so is the gluing and bonding of the whole. The keys seem to me overall a hair stiffer than on the (much) older model, but that's probably a novelty and after a year I would evaluate differently. Is it slipping? And which ones don't.
In short, there's no need to eliminate this calculator from your selection because of a few negative reviews when you want to get a new one. Just look at youtube and the discussions on the videos or amazon and other reviews. To the criticisms here, I'll just write that some people need something a little different than a more detailed manual.
