The device works almost perfectly, as long as it's permanently connected to a LAN network with internet access, from where it gets the time via an NTP server (or when it functions as a Wi-Fi AP). However, a problem arises the moment it goes offline or you need to use it in a place without internet (e.g., in a garage): Lack of internet and time: When the connection is lost, red lights come on and the timers do not fully work. The device doesn't have a backup battery for its internal clock (RTC), so without the internet, it doesn't know the precise time and date. Offline consumption measurement: The total consumption counter (kWh) itself does work offline, but without a timestamp, detailed monitoring over time is a problem. Bypassing the problem: I solved the internet requirement by temporarily creating a hotspot from my mobile phone, from which the plug loaded the time and date. However, it's questionable how it will cope with maintaining the time and displaying history in the long term after a potential power outage. Conclusion: This is definitely not a device for ordinary, less technically-savvy users – a basic knowledge of networks is essential here. It's not very suitable for permanent operation without internet in its basic setup, which is why I'm giving it 3 out of 5 stars.
Measures online network frequency, voltage
Measures consumed energy online
It allows you to independently schedule when each individual socket turns on, even based on multiple conditions.
Works well as long as it's permanently online.
Each socket can be switched on/off at any time using a separate hardware button.
A mobile phone (smartphone with AP) is also sufficient for the basic configuration.
Suitable as part of a whole with larger components of the system.
You have to be permanently online to use the more advanced functions.
You have to register on their website with your account.
The mobile software interface is designed for larger systems – so it's very modular and therefore less clear and intuitive.
