I have experience with the Rox Evo 11.1, where the color display (lower resolution) is perfectly legible even in direct sunlight. I expected that it would be similar with this model, but unfortunately it is not. The sensitivity is really much worse. You can still see something, but compared to 11.1, it is very different. So if I' m just driving around and don' t need maps, I' d rather go for 11.1. Otherwise satisfaction, does everything as it should. The one star down is due to legibility in the sun.
Bigger display and resolution
WiFi
Detailed maps
Long service life
The sensors will be connected to both 11.1 and 12.1
Screen configuration
Compatibility with Rox Evo 11.1
Integration of mobile notifications.
Compared to the Rox Evo 11.1, the display is very noticeable in the sun.

I had a Sigma Rox 4, then a Garmin, and then I went back to the Sigma 4 because the Garmin didn't suit me and couldn't recalculate the route properly ( I don't remember the model but it's about 4 years old). But since I mainly ride on downloaded maps (blind) I wanted full navigation with the possibility of navigating the route from other points which Sigma 12.1 handles perfectly. As far as display legibility goes, the Rox 4 can't be beaten, simplicity is power, but the 12.1 just takes a toll on the colour - touchscreen. Otherwise it's a real computer, it can do everything you can think of, with maps you don't have to play on Topo maps, the ones it uses are mega detailed tested in forests that are not normally kept as bike paths and you meet max mushroom pickers and knows every turn - path. You can also adjust the device during activity, the colours of the boxes, change what you want to track which is ideal because after all it's something else to set up at home and then on the bike I find it would be better to have the cadence on the left or have the current instead of the average etc. Overall it's a great device, shape is great, size is just right (for MTB it's better to use a short holder above the stem), expect that you will have to really play with it but it's worth it. So for those who don't want to ride the Garmin wave, this is a great choice.
classic navigation
maps are easily downloaded directly on the device via wifi
in the deep forest he can see and know all the side paths, the maps are really detailed, in the city almost too much
display lights up automatically in darkness, at night
sports profiles, mtg, gravel. all fully editable
large display, can be operated by buttons and touch
I can't think of one, if I wanted to be a tinkerer, maybe a little better readability in full sun and the ability to switch to less detailed maps in the city when navigating
