We took it as a fridge for the cottage, at home we have the big LG one with glass doors - French. Here we didn't notice that the whole left side is a freezer - our stupidity, but to be honest the product photo where there are cans of pepsi in the freezer door didn't help much.: -D Paradoxically, even though the volume of the fridge is bigger than the LG, the fact that it's only the right side + the fact that there are shelves far apart, more fits in the LG. Plus, even a 1.5L PET bottle won't fit in the door, so it has to be stacked on a shelf. Compared to the LG this one doesn't have a water connection so you have to fill the reservoir. This is a pain, especially when the filling hole covers the shelf above it and so the magazine has to be pulled out. On the other hand, the water is super-cooled - LG, where only water flows, can't do that. I was a little worried about the light being able to see the bottom shelf at all, but it's not a problem. We're not at max yet. capacity, but the lighting shines through beautifully. I was also concerned about performance, for the price, but the truth is that even without the quick cool/freeze modes, the fridge is able to bring the temperature down quickly. Overall - with the caveat that it's a "cottage fridge" - probably good. The materials are good quality, the functionality is good. If I were to have it at home, I'd probably return it and buy a really French one, because it doesn't make sense to me to have such a big freezer, but that's purely individual.
