Very comfortable, lightweight and high quality headphones. For those who don't want to be dirty, this is a good choice. Despite the open design, the reproduction is clear, loud even in noisier environments. Tested with two children in the bathroom: ⁠-). The automatic volume control works very well, as do the calls, where even in the bathroom with the water on, the other party could hear everything well, and so could I. The application is a must, but the result is worth it. It's clear, the headset responds instantly. The touch control works well both directly on the surface of the headphones and with the extended area feature turned on, it just takes a little practice. I probably won't go back to the plugs, it's nice to have an overview of the surroundings.

After a year and a half of moderate use, the battery life has gone.
Alza replaced the battery in the right handset only. The left one discharges from a full charge in 10 minutes even after a claim.
The box doesn't even last overnight when charged, and according to English complaints on the internet, this is a widespread problem. Sony just used some incredibly low quality batteries and won't admit it.

The headphones were to serve as a replacement for the bone conduction headphones from Aftershokz. They are small, practical, there is no problem with the connection, the audio corresponds to the technology used. In these respects I was satisfied. The problem is with comfort. I had to get used to the headphones for several months to be able to wear them for more than an hour. The first weeks were very unpleasant, but it was worth it. The problem occurred about half a year ago when a FW update came to the headset that absolutely destroyed any battery life. The headphones take more than 20 hours to charge to 100%, but it is enough to leave them in the box for two to three days without using them. In practice, the headphones have to be in the charger 24/7, otherwise one is almost sure that they will always be discharged when one wants to use them. Sony is denying the claim, saying it's standard behavior. So that was five grand wasted.

For good stereo, you need to hit the transducer really carefully on the ear canal. Otherwise, it sounds weird. In my ears, it's a hit and miss at times. If you're expecting a bunch of bass, you won't find it here. And if you want noise, look elsewhere too, these headphones are pretty quiet. Rumbling and deafness do not take place. And now the pros. I was amazed by the amount of detail I found in familiar music, even though I was listening rather quietly - with my previous headphones, I could only hear the same details at higher volumes. Whether it was Christian's Dylan's Dylan, Hradistan's O Solunovratu, Mazánek's Ritual of the Elements or my immense favourite Telegraph Road by Dire Straits from the Alchemy concert, or Christian's adaptation of Telegraph Road, I was not disappointed. As far as comfort is concerned, so far nothing is pressing or falling out. There are five sizes of silicone ears to choose from. I hope nothing goes wrong or I don't get it out of my ear somewhere: ).

Even though the unique concept of SONY linkbuds headphones suits me, the price tag is the biggest obstacle in my opinion. It' s not just the traditional 10 to 20 percent SONY surcharge, linkbuds should cost € 50 less than the suggested retail price of € 199.
