Surprisingly solid product. I was expecting cheap plastic. Mario himself is a solid statue.
The kids are excited, that's for sure.
The clock lights really little, at night it does not disturb at all. Maybe too little for some: )
You can adjust the alarm volume - even to a very low value. It's not such a shock to wake up.
Flashlights! So it has to be replaced, but it's a lot better than setting the clock to 0:00 during a power outage.
The display/clock could be bigger. It's not exactly small, but it needs to be placed closer to the bed so the kids can see it when they need to.
The button with sounds from Mario games is more of a publicity stunt. Like, it works, but it's actually useless. The youngest little one wants to play with it all the time and runs out of batteries.
