In our large premises, remote-controlled sockets are a must. Over the years we have tried eight different brands that have shown various shortcomings in both hw and app. Only this Tesla does not have any flaws, in several months of use, no defect has manifested itself. We are replacing all previous wifi sockets of other brands with this reliable model.

Don't buy it, rebranded Chinese crap. If you're lucky enough to hook it up, you probably won't be happy with its measurement.
I spent several days and complaints connecting this crap to WiFi. In the end, it turned out that it couldn't connect to WiFi when WPA3 was enabled (regardless of the fact that WPA2 is enabled too).
After several days of connecting, the result still sucks. The instant consumption is updated every few minutes (unusable) and the long term consumption is obviously completely off some days.
Often the socket appears offline in the app and takes a while to come up.

Unable to connect to a Wi-Fi network - tried about 100 times on two different Wi-Fi, in both auto and manual mode, but no success. Maybe it needs to connect as a sub-device through the Tesla Zigbee gateway, but it's not in the instructions so I haven't tried it. And it's too expensive for a "dumb" device, so it's returned.

Since it is an extension, there is probably no need to describe the function. But she's also smart. We have it behind the TV and we have the TV and all other electronics connected to it. We have phone chargers pulled out of the USB ports. We don't watch a lot of TV, so it's great to be able to have the whole energy guzzler actually completely off all the time and only let it run when we're watching. And to make sure we don't forget to turn the outlets off, we set up an automatic shut-off.
