the switch is located 30 cm from the socket, instead of being on top of the lamp, the designers apparently climb under the table when switching on their lamps
not all E27 bulbs fit, some don't even touch the contacts

Inadequate switch location. I returned the lamp within the 14 day period without further testing
The fact that the lamp switch is on the cord is in the description. Annoyingly, I found that it was positioned closer to the plug than the lamp. This means that I put the lamp on my desk, plug it into an extension cord under my desk - and every time I turn it off or on, I have to bend down under my desk to the switch.
