this is my third time attempting to write this review, everytime I attempt to scroll through my points to confirm them the alza app closes the review window, I'm sorry for lack of detail as I'm running out of patience - it has been 30 minutes of me writing and I'm getting really angry.
it looks pretty
RGB looks good
box arrived broken and partially torn
after you take the plastic foil layer off of the box containing the mouse, there is a tamper-proof seal covering the opening area, once taken off has a two way adhesive sticker below it that says VOID
box can't be stored properly, has to be upside down and the front can't touch anything due to the sticker
PTFE mouse skates have a near unremovable layer of plastic film / protective foil
peeling off protective foil leaves residue on the mouse skates
protective foil tears easily, you cannot peel it off in one motion due to this, I have done this hundred's of times - i work with mice, this has never happened to me before
sensor skate either doesn't have foil or it is impossible to take off, eventually gave up and tried taking the sensor skate off entirely since the mouse feet still felt scratchy - using an engraving knife, I insert it between the nanometer space between the skate and the plastic and begin to lift it off but the knife tip snapped and flew 5cm past my eye and my head
technically could've blinded me LMAO
PTFE skates, even with the protective film off are scratchy (middle skate not accounted for as I left the foil on)
rubber sides of the mouse which will likely cause problems as the adhesive degrades
side flex (when pressing on the sides, below side buttons, the side mouse buttons activate on their own)
mouse click wobble
mouse left and right click tension/press resistance depends on where you are pressing your mouse button
double clicking due to improper tensioning
I damaged the mouse sensor skate while attempting to take the foil off, took it off entirely so my warrant is likely void
this mouse is outclassed in every way within the price range
something is rattling inside the mouse, I thought it was the PCB or something else related to loose screws but pressing the mouse clicks down entirely fixes the issue - thus it is likely the mouse clicks rattling
no extension cable for the wireless dongle
mouse wheel has no notches, a activates frequently due to momentum, shitty encoder
wireless is subpar for the price, sensor is also subpar for the price, you can find 3x better buying from china and I would advise that route than to buy this piece of garbage
I would have rather burnt the money than buy this
shape isnt good for large hands (20.5cm+ length)
impossible for palm grip as the mouse is too low, awkward for claw grip. you are limited to fingertip grip, I don't mind this so much as I like fingertip grip but most don't
rattle
rubber on the sides will wear out and peel off with time, we stopped doing this years ago for good reason
bad unboxing experience, using it is mediocre at best
I hate this thing generally
like many mice, the mouse base is uneven - this is usually due to screw tensioning but I will open this thing up and check manually. (the way you can tell if your mouse base is uneven is when it wobbles on a flat surface, so a glass mousepad it any hard pad, or a table)
