The Tribit StormBox Micro 2 BTS12 Red is an improved version of its predecessor and offers several significant technical improvements. While the first version had a 9W output, the Tribit StormBox Micro 2 BTS12 Red offers an increased 10W output for a more powerful and clearer sound, especially in the bass range thanks to the improved XBass technology. A frequency range of 70 Hz to 20 kHz ensures a wide sound spectrum that remains clear even at higher volumes. With IP67 certification, the StormBox Micro 2 is protected against dust and can withstand immersion in water up to a depth of approximately 1 meter.

The main improvement is Bluetooth 5.3 technology (compared to Bluetooth 5.0 in the first version), which provides a more stable connection with a longer range of up to 36 metres. In addition, the second version is also equipped with a better 4700 mAh battery, which is a significant increase over the original 2600 mAh. This provides up to 12 hours of continuous playback (compared to 8 hours in the first version) and 30 days of standby time.
