The tent is very light and compact.
Your trekking pole will be used instead of the main pole.
The tent is usable only in good weather: When using the tent for the first time, it rained lightly for about 30 minutes at night. I probably bought a piece that was poorly made, because water probably got into it from the seams of the floor in the leg area, so I had a wet mat, sleeping bag and clothes left in the middle of the tent. The tent floor is made of the same material as the outer walls of the tent, so the declared higher waterproofness of the floor in the description refers to the separately purchased Trimm Pack DSL Footprint floor; Alza does not currently offer it. I bought it elsewhere, had it under the tent, and thanks to the water that probably ran from the outer walls of the tent onto this floor, the entire floor of the tent was soaked by the morning. I note that around the tent in the morning there was only damp grass from the morning dew. If you are caught in rain or a shower on your trip and you are forced to pitch your tent on wet grass, your floor will definitely get wet and it will completely spoil your trip.
The required length of the trekking pole is not indicated. According to my measurements, a stick length of at least 115 cm is required, which can be a problem for smaller hikers.
In the case of a multi-day cycling trip with this tent, you can take a trekking pole with you, which will stick out of your cycle bag or luggage rack. An alternative is to find a branch of this length each time before building the tent and cut smaller twigs from it. Trimm does not offer a foldable main pole to the same length as a folded tent as an accessory.
To properly tension the tent wall in the head area, the third reinforcing cable is missing and another tent pin for its fastening is also missing. Paradoxically, the eyelet is sewn onto the tent.
Tent pegs are aluminum, orange and cross-shaped. For hammering into hard ground, I recommend purchasing a stick. The wire pegs on other tents sometimes bend, but you stick them into hard ground more easily.
