According to dTest, I had a feeling it would work better. It's probably my third infrared thermometer, so hopefully I have an idea how to measure. But even though it's the most expensive of the bunch, it shows the most disparate numbers. It measured me correctly several times in a row as a healthy person. For the child, I measured the forehead classically, then the temple area, the inside of the ear and the neck for comparison. And all repeatedly. Temperatures were in the range of 36-42.5°C so I really couldn't determine anything from that: -D Feeling with my hands, I estimated it at 38 and stopped measuring. Returning used goods is stupid, so they're at the bottom of the drawer and I'll try another brand again.
