First purchase – delighted with the app (which works without any issues anywhere you have an internet connection). After the first use, we discovered that the baby monitor just turns itself off and reports that it's out of camera range, even though it was about 10m away from the camera as the crow flies, through 2 walls. We have the R4 model (which unfortunately had a broken charging port, so we had to look for a new one) and we never had any range issues with that one, even at greater distances and through more walls. I don't get it. After two days, the baby monitor stopped working, so we returned it; the claim was processed quickly (which I praise, thumbs up for that). I bought the exact same model again that very day because we really liked the app. I assumed the poor range might have just been due to the monitor already being faulty. That wasn't the case – the range is still rubbish, the claimed 50m in a built-up area is nowhere near reality, I don't get it. Three stars only because of the great app, otherwise I'd have given it 1.
The biggest plus is the app, which works perfectly without any problems.

Probably the best baby monitor on the market. The radio range is genuinely around 300m outdoors, and it works well between the house/patio and a campervan/outside. The signal does drop out across several rooms, so the Wi-Fi connection via the app is an advantage. However, transmission through thick walls is a general problem for all baby monitors. The picture is lovely and sharp, and the temperature measurement, cry detection, etc., all work as they should.

What I would criticize is the pairing of the camera itself, on the mobile it pairs with the front button and on the screen with the button "in" the camera, you have to wait until it runs and then press it, it's so inaccessible, and humpolácké that you have to move the camera "forcefully" through the motor, but it should happen only once and at the beginning (maybe that's why the two types of pairing).
What is a giant minus for me is the downward range of the camera, you can move it almost anywhere to the side and up, but if you put it on a table or shelf above the crib, you can't see down, so you have to "hang" it on the wall to make it perpendicular to the wall and then you have almost any range you want. Also, the nut that can be used for mounting on a tripod etc is not deep enough and so the camera has play when screwed in. Despite all this, I can only recommend it for a smaller amount compared to more expensive competition, which according to the specification is no better.
