The charger charges, but new Samsung phones will charge slowly. Alza incorrectly states in the description support for Samsung Super Fast Charging 2.0 technology - this charger does not have this feature! Samsung Super Fast Charging 2.0 = 45W charging, compared to Samsung Super Fast Charging = 25W charging. But this charger has a maximum output of 18W, which is a common slow charging for new Samsung phones (e.g. S21 and later). So the charger can never reach Samsung Super Fast Charging standards. Other devices will also recharge slowly because the max. power is 18W, respectively. 15W at 5V/3A. I recommend it as a nice compact slow charger.
