The robotic vacuum cleaner runs practically every day in our house (2 babies), so we decided to go for a big upgrade. We're moving on from the Xiaomi X20+ robot, which was already a huge upgrade for a household with 2 small children, but the new 6 Max robot is in a different league. The first thing we noticed straight away was the English language support. The previous model's Xiaomi Home app wasn't in English, but the new 6 Max robot finally has it. The AI functions have clearly been a great benefit to the vacuum. The X20+ would sometimes get chaotically tangled around the legs of the dining room chairs, but the 6 Max handles it like a boss. The mopping is also completely incomparable to the older model. Instead of two round mop pads that required the robot to return to the docking station for cleaning and soaking, the 6 Max has a mopping roller that is continuously cleaned with fresh water, and the dirty water is sucked into a tank – all right inside the robot's body, so it doesn't have to go to the docking station for it. Finally, I have to mention the mop cleaning after it's finished. This happens automatically in the docking station with hot water, and then it's dried with hot air, so I have absolutely no worries about any mould or bacteria. We recommend it for every family who wants to use their time more meaningfully than on daily cleaning.

It'll probably need a bit more maintenance. We like everything to be just so, so for example, we'll definitely be rinsing out the dirty water tank in the vacuum's body regularly, along with the dirty water tank in the docking station.
